Human Resources Coordinator
O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable company in the manufacturing industry to find their next Human Resource Coordinator. This is a full-time position based in Redding, CA.
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and proactive Human Resource Coordinator to support daily HR operations and employee relations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for a wide range of HR and administrative functions including onboarding, safety coordination, leave tracking, employee support, and timecard management. The ideal candidate will have foundational HR knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to confidently interact with employees at all levels.
Human Resource Coordinator Compensation:
- $25 - $33 per hour

Human Resource Coordinator Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of human resources principles and best practices
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, workplace safety procedures, and workers’ compensation processes
- Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment
- Experience tracking employee leave, PTO, and attendance records
- Ability to conduct employee orientations and lead safety meetings confidently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software systems
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Human Resource Coordinator Responsibilities:
Employee Support & Onboarding
- Conduct new hire orientations and assist with onboarding processes
- Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and HR-related concerns
Safety & Compliance
- Assist in overseeing company safety programs and maintaining OSHA compliance
- Conduct and coordinate employee safety meetings
- Support workers’ compensation reporting and documentation processes
Attendance & Employee Administration
- Track employee PTO, leave requests, and attendance records
- Manage and review employee timecards for accuracy
- Maintain personnel files and HR documentation with a high level of accuracy
Performance & Office Support
- Assist with employee relations and performance management processes
- Support daily office operations and administrative tasks as needed
- Help maintain a positive and professional workplace culture
