Construction/Drywall Helper
O2 Employment Services is working with a local company to find a Construction/Drywall Helper for a temporary project. This opportunity is expected to continue through October, with the possibility of extending beyond that timeframe. The ideal candidates will have a construction background, be dependable, and be comfortable working independently. At least one candidate must have strong drywall repair and finishing experience.
Construction Helper Compensation & Benefits
- $30.00 per hour
- Temporary opportunity through October, with the possibility of extension
Construction Helper Qualifications
- Previous construction experience required
- Drywall repair and finishing experience required
- Ability to mud, texture, and blend drywall repairs professionally
- Reliable transportation required
- Clean driving record with no DUIs required
- Able to accept constructive feedback
- Dependable and capable of working independently
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Comfortable performing physical construction work
Construction Helper Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction and repair projects
- Complete drywall repairs as assigned
- Apply drywall mud and texture
- Blend repaired areas with existing wall textures
- Use tools and materials safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow instructions and complete work to quality standards
- Assist with other construction-related duties as needed
