O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable construction company to find their next Business Administrator & Bookkeeper. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and office administration. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting daily operations, financial processes, and leadership with professionalism and accuracy.

Business Administrator & Bookkeeper Compensation:
  • $60,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience

Business Administrator & Bookkeeper Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll experience
  • HR and administrative experience preferred
  • Degree or certification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Business Administrator & Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bookkeeping functions
  • Process payroll and assist with employee onboarding, documentation, and HR administration
  • Prepare and organize contracts, budgets, reports, and project documentation
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and assist with project financial reporting
  • Generate invoices from labor hour entries in QuickBooks Time
  • Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, leadership, and internal teams
  • Develop and improve office procedures and administrative systems
  • Support leadership by improving workflows and contributing to efficient daily operations
