Compensation of the Truck/Equipment Mechanic:

Qualifications of the Truck/Equipment Mechanic:

Proven experience as a mechanic for trucks, tractors, trailers, and various equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical wiring systems.
Ability to perform 90-day and annual BIT inspections on tractors and trailers.
Experience servicing and repairing equipment such as CAT forklifts, balers, car presses, and log loader cranes.
Proficient in adjusting brakes and repairing lighting systems on tractors and trailers.
Familiarity with ordering parts and managing purchase orders and work orders.
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities of the Truck/Equipment Mechanic:

Order parts and manage inventory using purchase orders and work orders.
Perform maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and various equipment.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and electrical wiring issues.
Adjust brakes and repair lights on tractors and trailers.
