O2 Employment Services is partnering with a local construction company in Burney, CA to find their next Carpentry Assistant. This part-time opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is eager to learn and grow in the construction industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be dependable, and enjoy working outdoors as part of a team. Previous construction or carpentry experience is preferred, and higher pay may be available for candidates with advanced carpentry skills and experience.

Carpentry Assistant – Compensation & Schedule
  • Starting at $25.00 per hour
  • Higher pay available based on experience and skill level
  • Part-time opportunity
  • Day shift (schedule to be discussed during the interview)
  • Potential for additional hours based on workload
Carpentry Assistant – Responsibilities
  • Assist with residential and commercial carpentry projects
  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed
  • Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and building materials
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site
  • Assist with framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, and general construction tasks
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Follow directions from the lead carpenter while working collaboratively with the crew
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Carpentry Assistant – Qualifications
  • Previous construction or carpentry experience preferred
  • Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Burney area
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
