Maintenance Technician
O2 Employment Services is working with a local property management company to find their next Maintenance Technician. This position is a full-time, long-term opportunity located in Cottonwood, CA.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable performing a variety of hands-on maintenance and property upkeep tasks. This role is best suited for someone with previous maintenance, landscaping, janitorial, or general repair experience who is looking for a steady, long-term opportunity.
Maintenance Technician Compensation:
- $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) available
- Monday–Friday schedule, with some Saturdays depending on workload
- Typical hours are 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with start times subject to change based on weather or property needs
- Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Previous property maintenance, landscaping, janitorial, or general labor experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to complete tasks independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with residents
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate basic maintenance and landscaping equipment
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform general property maintenance and upkeep
- Assist with landscaping, mowing, weed whacking, brush removal, and site clean-up as needed
- Complete basic maintenance tasks across the property
- Perform janitorial duties as needed
- Operate basic maintenance and landscaping equipment
- Assist with shoveling, hauling, cleaning, and general labor tasks
- Support the team with additional maintenance projects and property needs as assigned
