Controller
O2 Employment Services is partnering with a well-established local company seeking an experienced Controller to lead and manage their accounting operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial activities across multiple entities and supporting strategic financial decision-making. This position is full-time, regular position is based in Redding, CA.
Controller Compensation:
- $120,000 – 150,000 Annually

Controller Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Controller or senior-level accounting role
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Experience managing multiple entities (LLCs preferred)
- Prior leadership or team management experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation or strong experience working alongside CPA firms
Controller Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle for multiple LLCs
- Maintain and reconcile company books using QuickBooks
- Supervise and support a team of three accounting staff members
- Oversee monthly financials, including income, reporting, and analysis
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all financial records and processes
- Work closely with an external CPA firm on financial reporting, tax preparation, and audits
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three accounting professionals, including delegating tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met
