O2 Employment Services is partnering with a well-established local company seeking an experienced Controller to lead and manage their accounting operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial activities across multiple entities and supporting strategic financial decision-making. This position is full-time, regular position is based in Redding, CA.

Controller Compensation:
  •  $120,000 – 150,000 Annually

Controller Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Controller or senior-level accounting role 
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks 
  • Experience managing multiple entities (LLCs preferred) 
  • Prior leadership or team management experience 
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 
  • CPA designation or strong experience working alongside CPA firms
 
Controller Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle for multiple LLCs 
  • Maintain and reconcile company books using QuickBooks 
  • Supervise and support a team of three accounting staff members 
  • Oversee monthly financials, including income, reporting, and analysis 
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with all financial records and processes 
  • Work closely with an external CPA firm on financial reporting, tax preparation, and audits 
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three accounting professionals, including delegating tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met
