Assistant Preschool Teacher
O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable preschool program to find their next Assistant Preschool Teacher. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood Education, demonstrate leadership qualities, and be comfortable supporting both classroom activities and administrative responsibilities when needed. They will be nurturing, organized, and able to effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff.
Assistant Preschool Teacher Compensation:
• $18/hr with potential increase after probationary period

Assistant Preschool Teacher Qualifications:
• Minimum of 12 ECE units, including Child Development, Child/Family/Community, Preschool Learning, and ECE Curriculum
• Ability to meet California licensing requirements, including criminal record clearance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with leadership ability
• Experience working with young children in a structured setting preferred

Assistant Preschool Teacher Responsibilities:
• Plan, supervise, and implement age-appropriate curriculum
• Support children’s individual learning styles and developmental needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
• Assist the Director with daily operations and step in when needed
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events
• Help maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations
