Warehouse Sanitation & Janitorial Technician
O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable manufacturing facility to find their next Sanitation & Janitorial Technician. This position is based in Redding, CA.
 
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in working in an industrial facility environment. This role is responsible for overall facility cleanliness, sanitation, and janitorial upkeep while supporting food safety and operational standards. 
 
Warehouse Sanitation & Janitorial Technician – Compensation & Benefits
  • $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Full-time: 40 hours per week

Warehouse Sanitation & Janitorial Technician – Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM
  • Rare weekends may be required based on facility or sanitation needs
  • Must be flexible to adjust schedule when sanitation work is required outside standard hours
Warehouse Sanitation & Janitorial Technician – Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of janitorial or sanitation experience in a manufacturing setting required
  • Experience using cleaning chemicals is a strong plus (training available)
  • Willingness to learn equipment sanitation and follow SOPs
  • Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Experience with or willingness to be trained on scissor lifts
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
 
Warehouse Sanitation & Janitorial Technician – Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and scheduled sanitation of production equipment and facility areas
  • Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment following SOPs and training
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with food safety standards
  • Maintain facility cleanliness including floors, walls, doors, storage areas, and equipment
  • Oversee and follow the facility sanitation and janitorial master cleaning schedule
  • Perform janitorial and housekeeping duties in restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas
  • Occasionally assist with light packaging or production support as needed
  • Operate or work around equipment such as scissor lifts for monthly and scheduled cleaning tasks
  • Complete required sanitation and cleaning documentation accurately
  • Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and food safety requirements
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
