O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable technology and communications company to find their next Install Technician. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with network cabling, surveillance systems, and data networks, along with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in a field environment.

Install Technician Compensation:
• $30 – $35 per hour

Install Technician Qualifications:
• Extensive experience with network cabling (copper and fiber) and proficiency with BICSI cabling standards
• Cable certification experience
• Proficient with power tools and general construction skills
• Strong understanding of data networks and their components
• Ability to use a laptop and related software tools
• Experience with surveillance systems (IP and analog)
• Experience with or understanding of overhead paging systems and A/V systems is a plus

Install Technician Responsibilities:
• Install, test, and maintain network cabling systems, including copper and fiber
• Perform cable certification and ensure all work meets BICSI standards
• Install, troubleshoot, and service surveillance systems (IP and analog)
• Assist with data network components, equipment setup, and system configuration
• Utilize laptops and diagnostic tools for system testing and documentation
• Work safely with tools, ladders, and related equipment
• Support installation and maintenance of paging and A/V systems when needed
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and maintain accurate records
