O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable company to find their next Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, extensive experience working with heavy equipment, and the ability to perform repairs efficiently and safely.

Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic Compensation:
• $20 to $50 (DOE)

Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic Qualifications:
• 3–5+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
• Experience working on equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and similar machinery
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed
• Ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair needs and timelines
