O2 Employment Services is working with a local reputable Automotive Service Company who is looking for a General Technician. This is a full-time, regular role in Redding, CA.

The ideal candidate will have a broad technical knowledge in all things mechanical and electrical.

Compensation of the General Technician:

$33/hour

Qualifications of the General Technician:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a mechanical or technician role.
Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Provide own set of tools.

Responsibilities of the General Technician:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including driveline and suspension systems.
Inspect and identify mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance such as fluid checks, alignments, and part replacements.
Document services performed and parts used accurately.
Work with the service team to ensure timely completion of jobs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Uphold all safety and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and recommendations.
