O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable local law firm to find their next Attorneys specializing in Family Law and Criminal Defense. This position is based in Redding, CA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and criminal defense, with the ability to manage multiple cases, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and represent clients effectively in court. This role requires someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating with a team of attorneys and paralegals while advocating for clients’ best interests.

Attorney Compensation:
 • Starting at $115,000 per year, with flexibility based on experience

Attorney Qualifications:
 • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
 • Active license to practice law in the State of California
 • Experience in a law office environment with strong legal research and writing skills
 • Competency in family law and criminal defense, including felony and misdemeanor cases
 • Proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw
 • Excellent negotiation and client advocacy skills
 • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
 • Exceptional legal drafting skills with attention to detail
 • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently

Attorney Responsibilities:
 • Provide legal advice and guidance with a focus on family law and criminal defense
 • Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw to support case strategies
 • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence
 • Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings, including felony and misdemeanor trials
 • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accurate and organized case records
 • Stay informed of changes in legislation and case law that may impact clients or firm strategy
 • Collaborate closely with a team of approximately four paralegals and two other attorneys on case preparation and strategy.
