O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable company to find their next Accounting Manager. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This role offers the opportunity to work in a professional environment with responsibilities spanning financial management, compliance, and strategic planning. Accounting Manager Compensation:
• $60,000 – $110,000 annually DOE

Accounting Manager Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations
• Experience with Deltek accounting software is a plus
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid CA Driver’s License (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting department operations
• Manage payroll and personnel-related accounting functions
• Administer health insurance, deferred compensation, and insurance programs (workers’ compensation, liability, etc.)
• Ensure workplace compliance and maintain internal controls
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports, forecasting, and tax documentation in consultation with CPA
• Oversee job cost accounting and invoicing
• Assist with project management analysis and tracking
• Review contracts and ensure compliance
• Conduct workload forecasting and assist with real estate asset management
• Support overall financial strategy and other related duties as assigned
