O2 Employment Services is working with a local property management company to find their next Property Maintenance Technician and/or Landscaper. This position is a full-time, long-term opportunity located in Cottonwood, CA.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors, with experience in landscaping or property maintenance. This role is open to both entry-level candidates with weed whacking and general landscaping experience, as well as more experienced maintenance technicians looking for a long-term opportunity.
Property Maintenance Technician / Landscaper Compensation:
- $18.00 per hour for Landscape position
- $18 - $22.00 per hour for the property maintenance role (DOE)
- Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
- Monday–Friday schedule, with some Saturdays depending on workload
- Typical hours are 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (start time may vary based on weather)
Property Maintenance Technician / Landscaper Qualifications:
- Landscaping and/or property maintenance experiencerRequired
- Entry-level candidates with weed whacking or outdoor labor experience encouraged to apply for landscaping/ Weed Abatement position
- Experience maintenance candidates encouraged to apply for property maintenance position
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with residents
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Property Maintenance Technician / Landscaper Responsibilities:
- Perform general property maintenance and landscaping duties
- Weed whacking (weed eating), mowing, and general landscape upkeep
- Shoveling, brush removal, and site clean-up
- Operate basic landscaping and maintenance equipment
- Assist with general maintenance tasks across the property
- Perform janitorial duties as needed
- Support team with additional tasks and projects as assigned
