Accounts Payable Specialist
O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable distribution company to find their next Accounts Payable Specialist. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable or general accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized while handling financial transactions and vendor records.

Accounts Payable Specialist Compensation:
  • $20 – $25 per hour
  • Monday – Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Friday work as needed
  • Employee medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Eligible for performance bonuses

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
  • AA degree in Accounting or comparable work experience preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software (DSD Manager experience is a plus)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial records
  • Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Process and record accounts payable transactions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of vendor 1099 forms
  • Review invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoices or payment inquiries
  • Support general accounting tasks as needed
  • Assist in maintaining organized financial documentation
