O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable manufacturing company to find their next Project Manager. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, technical awareness, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects through production while maintaining quality, timelines, and customer satisfaction.

Project Manager Compensation
$71,000 - $80,000 annually (DOE)

Project Manager Qualifications
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in project management, operations, manufacturing, automotive, or a related technical field.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a production environment preferred.
  • Mechanical, welding, or technical background is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments and with customers.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal job-tracking systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to walk a production floor and perform visual inspections with standard vision requirements.
Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Review incoming chassis, materials, or project specifications for accuracy prior to production.
  • Communicate discrepancies, change orders, or clarifications to internal teams.
  • Manage custom, fleet, and priority builds throughout the full production lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality Control, and Technical teams to maintain schedules and documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify constraints early, and drive timely resolution.
  • Review quality control results and confirm completion of required rework.
  • Conduct final inspections and determine GO/NO-GO readiness for delivery.
  • Verify documentation, labeling, serial verification, staging, and delivery preparation.
  • Coordinate final handoff to invoicing and logistics.
  • Serve as a primary contact for warranty inquiries and resolution.
  • Research build history and coordinate repairs, parts, or vendor support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate warranty records and support continuous improvement efforts.
