Landscape Technician
O2 Employment Services is working with a local park to find their next Landscape Technician. This is a full-time, long-term role in Redding, CA.
 
Compensation of the Landscape Technician:
  • $21.00 per hour
  • Full benefit package available after probationary period
  • Full-time; 5:30 am – 2:00 pm through September 22, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm after. Days may vary
Landscape Technician Qualifications:
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Ability to drive a manual (stick shift) vehicle
  • Must pass a background check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to handle changing tasks and priorities
Landscape Technician Duties:
  • Perform lawn care duties, including mowing, edging, and weed eating
  • Trim hedges and prune trees as needed
  • Operate blowers, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment safely
  • Remove weeds and maintain clean, landscaped areas
  • Conduct irrigation system repairs and maintenance
  • Perform janitorial tasks as assigned
  • Adapt to changing job assignments and work environments
  • Learn to operate heavy equipment as needed
