O2 Employment Services is working with a well-known manufacturer that is seeking an Associate Customer Service Representative or Customer Service Representative, depending on qualifications, to join their dynamic customer service team.
This position is responsible for responding to customer inquiries with accuracy and professionalism, assisting with product pricing, availability, shipping costs, and order status updates. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Service Representative Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Schedule may vary based on business needs.
Customer Service Representative Compensation And Benefits
- $16.50–$23.70 per hour, DOE
- Excellent medical, dental, and life/AD&D insurance

Customer Service Representative Qualifications And Requirements
- High school diploma required; college coursework preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of office-based customer service experience for the Associate level, or 2+ years for the Customer Service Representative level
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation
- Experience with business or order processing software preferred
- Typing speed of at least 45 wpm with 10-key proficiency (certificate required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attendance record, reliability, and positive attitude
Customer Service Representative Duties And Responsibilities
- Process customer orders via web, email, fax, and telephone
- Enter orders accurately and promptly into the software system
- Prepare order acknowledgment forms and packing slips with correct pricing and shipping details
- Communicate regularly with customers by email and phone to manage order fulfillment and satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer or order-related issues
- Follow up with purchasing to expedite back-ordered items
- Prepare and send acknowledgments confirming order receipt, shipment dates, and backorder details
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure accuracy across all order records
- Support senior customer service staff and management as needed
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with every customer interaction
