Heavy Equipment Yard Attendant
O2 Staffing is currently seeking a Yard Attendant to fill an opening with a local equipment rental company. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity based in Redding, CA.

Requirements of the Yard Attendant
  • Must have a valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Experience working in equipment operation or equipment maintenance is preferred
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and assist in multiple areas as needed
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines
  • Comfortable working in an outdoor environment and performing physical tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Benefits of the Yard Attendant
  • $20.00 - 22.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Full-time, daytime hours; 40 hours per week, including some Saturdays

Responsibilities of the Yard Attendant
  • Safely load and unload rental equipment for customers and company drivers
  • Perform basic inspections on equipment to identify any damage or maintenance needs
  • Refuel and top off fluids on various types of rental equipment and tools
  • Clean, maintain, and prepare equipment and tools for rental, including pressure washing and minor servicing
  • Conduct simple functionality tests to ensure equipment is in proper working condition prior to rental
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the yard and warehouse, keeping work areas clean and orderly
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move rental inventory as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment use, condition, and maintenance as required
  • Follow all company safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by management
